ALLIANCES RESPONSIBLE

PHARMABRAND LABORATORIES AND TC TELEVISION, BOTH SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE COMPANIES

In December 2012, PharmaBrand Laboratories and TC Television agreed a strategic alliance to implement a project of corporate responsibility called "The True Meaning of Christmas."

The project sought to benefit disadvantaged communities in the country with a unique sense of solidarity, bringing together two realities existing in our world "which has everything, and which has nothing."

PharmaBrand and TC Television organized this event into a TV production for the Christmas holiday season, highlighting corporate social responsibility, while impacting people who need it most.

TC Television constructed houses in the cities of Quito (Barrio Carsuki de Moncayo) and Guayaquil (Taura, Recinto Caimital).

While TC Television staff carried out the construction of some houses, PharmaBrand carried out "medical brigades" in the community, serving people and donating medicines including vitamins, medicines for the treatment of parasites, fever, liver pathologies, and products for the treatment of hypertension and diabetes.

At each site, they attended an estimated one hundred people, including children, youths, adults and seniors.

The event was a success. Both communities, located far from the cities of Quito and Guayaquil, could benefit from home construction and the primary health care provided by PharmaBrand Laboratories.
