Metformin hydrochloride

• 30 x 850 mg tablets

• As monotherapy, is indicated as an adjunct to diet to lower blood glucose in patients with type 2 diabetes whose hyperglycemia cannot be satisfactorily managed on diet alone.
• May be use concomitantly with a sulfonylurea or insulin to improve glycemic control.
